All Things Cuticle Oil
Below are the oils I have chosen for this wonderful skin loving recipe!
Aloe Oil - Like aloe vera gel, aloe oil is also known for its ability to promote skin health. It helps the skin heal.
Apricot Kernel Oil - Contains gamma linoleic acid that is useful to firm and tone your skin. It also contains Vitamin A and E to soothe and slow down the aging process. It has nourishing properties and an anti-inflammatory effect which can help to soothe eczema.
Avocado Oil - This absorbent oil is thought to have numerous benefits for your skin, like moisturizing dry hands or acting as a natural sunblock.
Castor Oil - Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid.
These types of fats act as humectants and can be used to moisturize the skin.
Humectants retain moisture by preventing water loss through the outer layer of the skin.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti-aging properties because it is packed with antioxidants and vitamins. It hydrates the skin by building the skin's moisture barrier to prevent loss of moisture.
MTC Coconut Oil - The fatty acids found in MCT oils are ideal for providing a natural moisturizer for cuticles, nails and hands.
Jojoba Oil - Because Jojoba oil is very similar to our own skin oils, it immediately penetrates skin and smoothes easily, helping to promote healthy skin without leaving a greasy residue.
Rice Bran Oil - The hydrating skin benefits of rice bran oil are largely attributed to the high level of vitamin E, vitamin B, omega-9, a rich array of fatty acids.
Shea 50 - The liquid version of Shea Butter! Makes skin feel like silk!
SoyBean Oil - Extremely high in lecithin, sterolins, and vitamin E which makes it an effective moisturising agent.
Sunflower Oil - High in omega-6 (linoleic) fatty acid and vitamin E. Omega-6 acid helps decrease inflammation in the skin and enhances the development of new skin cells.
Sweet Almond Oil - The fatty acids in this oil help your skin retain moisture and can help to heal chapped and irritated skin.
